Hypothetically Speaking...
Submitted by adriancarrasquillo on Tue, 11/04/2008 - 8:09pm.Let's just say for the sake of argument that exit polls aren't notoriously fickle. Let's just assume for a moment that they should be taken with more than a grain of salt. Obama is leading in six battleground states according to the Huffington Post. In all seriousness, Democratic candidates over perform in exit polls and voters who are more enthusiastic and skew younger like Obama's supporters are more likely to participate in exit polls.
The states looking good for Obama:
Florida: 52 percent to 44 percent
Iowa: 52 percent to 48 percent
Missouri: 52 percent to 48 percent

McCain Has An Indiana Problem
Submitted by mkelly on Tue, 11/04/2008 - 6:58pm.By Mike Kelly
This quick Ben Smith note at Politico shows a potential problem for John McCain in Indiana.
With McCain trailing in this precinct by more than double digits with half of the vote there counted, it is unlikely he will come back. This would represent a Bush precinct (53-47 in 2004) that Barack Obama was able to steal away from the GOP.
Possibly a sign of the traditionally red Indiana turning blue this year.

I for one appreciate that he incorporated increased life expectancies.
